A resettlement action plan (RAP) sets out how people affected by a project will be compensated and supported. It depends on accurate records of every affected person and asset.
Project-affected person (PAP): anyone whose land, home, livelihood or assets are affected by a development project and who may be entitled to compensation.
Field teams worked in remote areas across two countries on a compressed timeline. Network failures created gaps in the data flow. Midway through, the client asked for indicators that had not been part of the original questionnaire.
We built a separate data collection tool to go back and gather the missing information directly. Where an indicator could be derived from data already collected, we inferred and verified it rather than sending teams out again.
All 762 project-affected persons were profiled across both countries, the additional indicators were delivered, and the data was handed over on schedule for the RAP.
An international environmental and social consultancy engaged All Your Needs to run the full survey data cycle for a 225–400 kV transmission line project in Cameroon.
A transmission line crosses many communities along its route. Environmental and social studies for a project like this rely on consistent, well-documented data from every community and household surveyed.
We programmed the data collection tools, supported data collection, managed incoming data as it arrived from the field and produced the analysis the study team needed.
The engagement is ongoing. Because one team handles programming through to analysis, changes to the study design carry through every stage without delay.
A village savings and loan association is a community group whose members save together and lend to one another. Knowing where groups are and how large they are helps programmes plan support.
We merged two source datasets, resolved duplicate groups by county, district and name, and gave every group a unique county-based code. Each GPS point was then matched against official district boundaries so every group sits in the right district.
Records without coordinates were matched to official district names within their county, and anything that could not be confirmed was flagged for follow-up rather than guessed.
The client received a single workbook with the cleaned data, county and district summaries, the top districts, member-size distribution, a full log of every change and the original data preserved, plus presentation-quality charts in their brand colours.
A flood early warning platform we are building pro bono for disaster management in Liberia, with a monitoring dashboard and an Android app for alerts.
